Ms. Kim-Maree Penn
Kim-Maree is the National Director of the IBA in North America and has been a member of the Association since 1996. She has been involved in the security industry since 1992 and is currently Managing Director of Signal 8 Security's Los Angeles office. Kim-Maree is an ex-Australian Karate Champion and retired as the undefeated World Karate Champion captured in Japan. She is trained in various martial arts and close quarter battle techniques and is an instructor for Defense and Restraint tactics (DART) and Tactical Firearms (ILETA). Kim-Maree has appeared in numerous martial arts movies and television series, produced her own self-defense video and is currently finishing a self- defense book for women.

Mr. Bruce McLaren
Bruce McLaren was born in Scotland where he worked as a marine engineer and then a firefighter for 5 years becoming a graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineers. Bruce is the National Director of the IBA in Hong Kong and China having been a member since 1997 and a qualified instructor since 2000. He has successfully completed many specialist courses in Europe, Thailand and Hong Kong including protective driving, tactical firearms, counter surveillance and counter-sniper. Bruce is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security, a qualified instructor of Defense and Restraint Tactics (D.A.R.T.) and a Firearms instructor with (I.L.E.T.A) providing in depth training and consultancy for corporations and individuals on security solutions throughout Asia.

Mr. David Berger
David Berger is our General Legal Counsel coming from a background in Law Enforcement. David studied law in England and California, and is a member of the California Bar. David's experience as a Deputy District Attorney provides up to date information on security concerns, the latest technology and viable solutions. Through his work with numerous police agencies and victims of crime, David has developed effective, yet simple, crime prevention programs that have been featured nationally.
