Training Signal 8 Security understands the importance of training and ensures that all staff have the most comprehensive and up to date training available. Our training is done by IBA instructors and US and UK military Special Forces instructors. Our trainers have extensive knowledge and experience within the private sector and high risk military operations. They offer an array of knowledge and field experience which has been gained and used in operational environments world wide. These experiences are then passed onto the students. Signal 8 Security personnel are routinely trained with updated material concerning the security industry. Whether it is on security management and consulting, logistical support, hand-to-hand combat, fire-arms training or InfoSec, they are prepared. Our core training includes personal protection training, counter terrorism training, protective driving, paramedicine, Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), Electronic surveillance devices (IEDs), Communications and Conflict Management including Close quarter combat techniques and Tactical Firearms. Personnel attending our Close Protection training Courses include private individuals entering the profession, established teams wishing to refresh and develop their skills as well as operatives and high ranking officers from police, military and government units. We offer many different modules for individuals interested in a career in security, client security staff in need of increased skills and proficiency levels, military and law enforcement personnel interested in the executive protection services and other security companies wanting to improve the ability of their security personnel. International Bodyguard Association Course The I.B.A. is an international non-governmental organization that trains officers of government corporate security, military, police and civilian bodyguards in close protection techniques. The IBA is the oldest and largest bodyguard association, with sites of protective service and education worldwide and has established itself as the premier world training organization for Bodyguards. It has been at the forefront of Bodyguard education in the emerging Baltic and Balkan Republics, the European Union Security; South Africa, in Afghanistan and throughout the new Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Mongolia. The IBA in addition to their regular courses trained classes of Iraqi Police, Cambodian Police, elements of the US Army's 1 st Special Forces Group, Bodyguards for United Nations Security, Bodyguards and Drivers for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, The Thai National Police and The Royal Thai Navy SEALS.
